Consciousness Claims

4:24 am Dear Diary, Random Thoughts

Finally – I gave up. Blogging definitely is becoming more popular from day to day – actually that was the reason why I didn’t want a blog. Blogging is work, too. Blogging is boring.

Blogging isn’t about getting popular or famous – it’s about getting to know yourself better.

Let’s face it: Nobody will read these lines – not even Open Office’s spellcheck. Even Google’s webcrawler will eventually stumble across my blog, scan it and file it to the other pointless, mindless, content-less and reckless blogs – never to be found again.
If you are still reading at this point I congratulate you and tell you more about the meaning of blogging:

A blog creates the illusion of being more important than you actually are. There’s a whole webpage just for you; and from you: your deepest feelings or bluntest fantasies. Only the possibility that this very blog can be read from Alaska to Florida, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe makes you feel better. But nobody from here to Pluto gives a wink. And that’s good.

Once you’ve realized that nobody cares, you are free. Free to write what ever you want to write for a faceless imaginary audience that will never give you any credit. You don’t depend on somebody’s opinion, money or feelings but your own. Your mind is free as it can be.

But why did I write all these lines? Because I and nobody else wanted it to. Don’t keep your own self in a cage – let it out from time to time and just watch it like a mother observing her kids playing in the sandbox. And if you’re a good mother to your self, letting it play and grow, it may surprise you with it’s own beautiful sand cake if you’re patient enough.
