Yep, once again another little electronic piece in minor key. I don’t know what struck me today, I guess an overall mood of gloom, melancholy, boredom and nose bleed were the ingredients to the situation that had led to this point.
I guess it was one of those days where the simple act of waking up exhausted me so much that everything I did felt so mind numbing and tedious like following a paper trail.
It’s been more than eight months now since the student project MOSKAU (we also have a website) I was Head of VFX is finished. But since it was the practical project to my diploma thesis I needed to design a poster for it. So here it is, my first movie poster in cinematic 50 x 70 cm fresh out of InDesign and Photoshop.
It’s been only two days since my resolution to post something creative at least once a week and here I am now, already posting some new music. Looks like I am currently floating on a wave of dark electronic, but still I’m strumming with my guitars every day now for at least half an hour, so let’s see when there’s a new guitar piece out there as well…
Wassup, y’all? I’m back! Back from the vault, back from grinding merrily away 20 to 30 hrs a day on my diploma thesis and back from LaTeX formatting hell. Through my veins still runs a little amount of blood among all that caffeine and so I’m announcing my new credo for 2010: Make Something Creative Every Day Week!

Hey everybody! Sorry for not updating in quite a while yet again, but as you already know: When there’s not much on the blog going on, then there’s much work I’ve been doing. Amidst all the NDAs and top-secret stuff there’s something now from a current project I can show you. Read on if you’re interested in the current progress of the awesome project I am currently involved in and wanna see some eye-candy.
Recently my first video tutorial for AEtuts+ went online. I have mixed feelings about it because I thought they would give it away for free. Instead it launched as a premium tutorial in the first place.
Don’t get me wrong, I am flattered that it is that way (and the pay didn’t hurt either) but on the other hand this makes me seem like a greedy asshole, who posts a tutorial on a simple effect anybody could figure out for themselves.
Another time it’s been way too long between updates. Again much has happened, I was too busy to author a thorough blog post of general interest. And honestly, I still am. So I will give you a short run down on what I did recently. Berlin was calling. I had to go. Like the years before. When you’ve been to Berlin once before (and ain’t not sick of it already), you just have to return. Every summer this city calls me by a feeling or just by plain Austrian fatigue. Then I book a flight, make no plans and off I go.
